Overview
Engifest is North India's Largest College Cultural Festival hosted by the Student Council of Delhi Technological University, This year's theme was related to spring named 'An Egress to Euphoria'. Being in the core team of the Student Council I was tasked with creating the them release video for the same.
Approach
The approach to the Engifest 2023 theme release video was inspired by the spring season - a time of new beginnings and growth. Using this theme as a foundation, we created a dynamic and engaging video that showcases the excitement and energy of Engifest.
At the heart of the video is a stunning animation of a flower slowly blooming and revealing the Engifest 2023 logo. This visual metaphor represents the growth and transformation of the festival, as well as the energy and excitement that comes with the arrival of spring.
To further highlight the importance of Engifest, we transitioned from the blooming flower to the Open Air Theatre, the main attraction of the campus where the festival will be held. This showcases the unique and exciting venue that will be the backdrop for the festival.
Finally, we ended the video with the dates of the festival and a fully bloomed flower in the background, symbolizing the arrival of spring and the excitement of Engifest. By incorporating these elements into the video, we aimed to create a professional and creative approach that captures the essence of the festival and showcases the excitement and energy that it brings.
